Brown noise for sleep, without a subscription.

Brown noise is the low, warm cover people reach for when white noise feels too sharp. Ambiance includes it in the free Android mixer — no account, no monthly fee.

Download the APK from this site, turn brown noise up, and layer rain underneath if you want a room that stays quiet. Playback stays on your phone. The free timer fades over the last two minutes so a hard stop does not wake you.

Pro is $20 NZD once if you want longer fades and more textures. Until then, brown noise is yours.
