Install Ambiance from this site. No Play Store.
The free mixer lives on your phone. Android will ask you to allow installs from the browser — that is normal for an app that does not go through Google. Full APK install steps.

The problem
Most sleep apps keep charging you to rest.
You wanted rain and a timer. You got an account, a subscription, and a library that stops working the month you cancel.
Subscriptions for a handful of sounds
$3–$10 a month for noise you already know you like. Ambiance is $20 once.
Accounts and cloud audio
Your mix should not need a login. Audio never leaves your device.
Timers that just cut out
A hard stop wakes people up. Ours fades over the last two minutes.
How it feels
A quiet mixer, not another wellness feed.
Build a mix in seconds
Independent volume on every channel. Layer rain under brown noise, then add a tone if you want it.
Lock the screen and leave it
Play, pause, and stop from the notification. The mix keeps looping while you sleep or work.
Fade out, then stop
Free gets 15 minutes. Pro unlocks 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours — then silence, not a jolt.
The library
Three free sounds. Twenty more when you unlock.
Deep Rain
Steady rainfall for sleep and study.
Brown Noise
Low, warm cover for restless rooms.
White Noise
Bright, even mask for busy spaces.
Light Rain
Sparse drops on a quiet roof.
Soft Ocean
Distant shore, looped without a hard edge.
Distant Thunder
Low rumbles on the horizon.
Night Wind
Soft gusts through trees.
Box Fan
The classic bedroom sleep fan.
Creek
A small stream over stones.
Cabin Hum
Airplane-cabin drone for travel sleep.
Night Crickets
A warm evening field.
Campfire
Low crackle and ember bed.
Pink Noise
Even, sleep-friendly hiss to layer under anything.
Solfeggio set
174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852, and 963Hz — plus 432Hz.

Questions
Before you buy
Is this a subscription?
No. $20 NZD once. You keep Pro on that device after you redeem the code.
Does it work on iPhone?
No. Ambiance is Android only. The Pro unlock works in the Android app, not on iPhone or iPad.
Why is this not on Google Play?
We sell and ship the app ourselves. You download the APK here, pay Stripe for Pro, and skip Play’s merchant delays and fees.
Android says the file may be harmful. Is that normal?
Yes, for any app installed outside Play. The warning is generic. Allow Chrome or Files to install unknown apps, then install Ambiance. The APK is signed by OwnForge.
I live outside New Zealand. What will I pay?
The price is set in NZD. Stripe converts it, so most overseas buyers pay less than $20 in their own currency.
Do I need an account?
No. The app plays without a login. Web checkout only needs payment details through Stripe.
Does audio leave my phone?
No. Sounds stay on device. The internet is only used for payment and unlock-code checks.
What if I lose the code?
Keep a screenshot or email yourself the success page. If you paid and lost the code, contact OwnForge with your Stripe receipt.
